GWIWA , RONI LOCAL GOVERNMENT CONDUCT MONTHLY SANITATION EXERCISE

The monthly environmental sanitation exercise was successfully conducted across Gwiwa and roni Local Government Areas on the last Saturday of the month. The exercise was aimed at promoting cleanliness, healthy living, and environmental safety within the communities.

During the sanitation exercise, residents actively participated in cleaning their surroundings, clearing drainage channels, removing refuse, and maintaining public places. The exercise was monitored by relevant environmental health officials to ensure compliance and effectiveness.

The sanitation programme recorded a good level of participation from community members, traditional leaders, youth groups, and other stakeholders. Their cooperation contributed significantly to the success of the exercise.

The Health Department, under the supervision of the HOD WASH, Malam Nasiru Musa gwiwa and HOD wash Roni malan muttaka haruna 

appreciates the commitment shown by the people of Gwiwa and roni Local Government Areas towards maintaining a clean and healthy environment.

The contributions have greatly enhanced the successful implementation of sanitation activities across the council and supported the realization of the 12-Point Agenda of His Excellency, Governor Malam Umar Namadi (Dan Modi).
