Jigawa state Government to provide Free Treatment of Non-Communicable Diseases .

The Government of Jigawa State, under the leadership of His Excellency the Executive Governor, Mallam Umar A Namadi FCA has introduced a landmark Free Treatment Program for Non-Communicable Diseases (NCDs) 

The Diseases Covered are Diabetes, Hypertension, and Sickle Cell Disease. The beneficiaries are entitled to free treatment as both outpatients and inpatients.

Eligible patients will receive comprehensive care, including Laboratory investigations, Radiological services (X-rays and ultrasounds) Essential medications and Physiotherapy

The services are for now available in the following Hospitals

1. Dutse GH

2. Hadejia GH

3. Gumel GH

4. Kazaure GH

5. Ringim GH

6. Birnin Kudu GH

7. Jahun GH

8. Babura GH

9. Kafin Hausa GH

10. Birniwa GH

11. Bulangu Cottage Hospital

12. Gwaram Cottage Hospital

All Special Advisers Senior Special Assistants, Special Assistants in Health Sector, The management of various hospitals and communities hereby directed to ensure that this privilege is not abused by non-beneficiaries to guarantee seamless, quality service delivery and safeguard the program against misuse.
