FEDERAL LAWMAKER DISTRIBUTES EDUCATIONAL SUPPORT MATERIALS WORTH MILLIONS OF NAIRA

In an effort to support his constituency with social amenities for them to enjoy dividends of democracy ,the federal law maker Distributes learning materials to pupils and students of secondary schools across Kaugama ,Malam Madori federal constituency in Jigawa state .

The federal lawmaker representing Malam Madori , Kaugama Federal Constituency has distributed educational support materials to 22 schools across Malam Madori and Kaugama Local Government Areas.

The federal lawmaker, Honourable Makki Abubakar Yelleman whom was represented by Haruna Babangida (Olando) stated that , “As part of the lawmaker’s ongoing commitment to his constituents, he has directed me to represent him and distribute these educational support items to 500 school pupils in his constituency.”

He further noted that , the support would improve learning and teaching environment in the area and help the parent to ease parents to' expenses on essential educational materials when the need arises.

Haruna added that , the items distributed across the constituency include 500 set of school uniforms, exercise books, school bags, and 500 sets of rubber desks and chairs.

The Special Adviser to the Governor on Higher Education, Abba Umar (A.U.), said, “The educational support program facilitated by the lawmaker is highly appreciated, as these items will encourage student performance.”

In his response, the Secretary of the Local Education Authority, represented by Muhammad Juji, commended the lawmaker’s efforts and urged his peers to emulate his example in supporting the education sector to nurture brilliant students.

While speaking, the traditional title holder, Dokajen Hadejia, Alhaji Muhammad Saleh Kuliya, thanked the kind-hearted lawmaker and urged students and school authorities to make good use of the materials to ensure their long-term benefit.

In his remarks, the Chairman of Malam Madori Local Government Council, Honourable Salisu Sani Garungabas represented by the Legislative Council Leader, Honourable Abdulmumin Ibrahim thanked the constituency’s representative for donating items that will enhance the educational standing of the area.
